sometimes when i get embarrassed about a horrifying moment in my life, like i’m on the brink of a flashback, i repeat a situation that is meaningless and nonexistant to avoid thinking about it. it usually works, but i wonder if that’s weird or if i’ll have some traumatic relevation somewhere down the line.
